The Hill Bar & Grill, Beverly Hills
The Hill is located on Wilshire Blvd between San Vicente and La Cienega right next door to the Saban Theatre. The inside of the bar, in both decor and vibe, is reminiscent of a New York neighborhood bar. The attractive wood bar dominates the room and the corrugated tin tiled ceiling gives the room a warm feeling.
Here’s the Deal
Happy Hour: The Hill’s Happy Hour just might be the best deal in town. Monday-Friday (plus special events like Super Bowl Sunday) from 4-8pm. $5 beer, wine, well drinks and appetizers.
What to drink: We had the wine- a very nice Malbec (Alamos) and a Chardonnay. The pour was generous, and at $5 the price cannot be beat.
What to eat: The Hill’s appetizer menu is diverse. For $5 you can get anything from Spicy Tuna Tartare to beef or chicken Satay to Wings, Fries and other bar fare. Our friend Amy swears by the Spicy Tuna Tartare.
Bartenders to Meet: Zay Harding, alumnus of now shuttered Red Rock on Sunset, was friendly and welcoming. He is an actor who is currently the host of Globe Trekker.
Parking: Street parking throughout the neighborhood. It can be difficult when an event is taking place at the Saban, so allow time to find a spot if that is the case.
