Happy Hour: The Belmont

747 N. La Cienega Blvd.
(Between Melrose and Santa Monica Blvd.)
West Hollywood

We reviewed The Belmont in one of our earliest posts on Happy Hour Los Angeles.  Now we’re back to tell you how to indulge in the great Belmont Happy Hour without breaking your diet.

Here’s the Deal

Happy Hour:  daily from 4pm to 7pm with drinks and appetizers all half off (except the crab legs!).

What to Drink: Belmont serves great martinis for $6 and selected red or white wines are each $5 (and very good!)

What to Eat: The Happy Hour Shrimp Cocktail is a fantastic Healthy Happy Hour choice.  It comes with four large shrimp for $6. Also on the happy hour menu, the Tuna Tartare for $7 -without the chips is a great option mixed into 1/2 a mixed green salad for $7. (Caesar salad is also available).  Off the regular menu, a caesar salad (without croutons) with salmon is a good choice for $16.

Bartenders to Meet: We recommend the very atttractive, nice and competent Meredith, who is an actress. She and the other attractive bartenders make great drinks and know the menu.

Parking: Valet for $7, however, if you circle the block once or twice you’ll probably find a meter, particularly on the east side of the street slightly north of the restaurant.  The bartender also told me that there are a number of spaces to park on the side streets east of the restaurant.
