il moro’s fantastic happy hour buffet
11400 West Olympic Blvd.
Here’s the Deal
Happy Hour: 5-7pm Monday through Friday. Free Happy Hour buffet with no drink minimum.
What to Drink: Drinks are regular priced during Happy Hour, but with the spectacular buffet of free food, there’s nothing to complain about here. We had a great martini for $14 and a good glass of Pinot Noir for $10. Il Moro has an extensive cocktail menu with a page of signature cocktails for $12. They offer over 40 different wines by the glass starting at $8 and more than 30 different beers starting at $7.
What to Eat: Did I mention the FREE buffet? This is a table laden with significant selections from Il Moro’s menu. The night we were there the buffet offered fried calamari, smoked salmon bruschetta, endive & bleu cheese salad, shrimp skewers, regular bruschetta, seafood ceviche, and eggplant lasagna. With the wide array of choices on the buffet, which changes daily, two people can eat until they are stuffed and have a great cocktail, wine or beer (or two) and still get out of here for $50 or less.
If you want to splurge, Il Moro has the thinnest crispy crust pizza in L.A. for $12.
Parking: Il Moro has Valet parking , but if you drive a bit past the restaurant there are always meters available on Corinth as well as the cross-street just to the south. I’ve never valeted.
