Caffe Roma Serves Up Delicious Food & Drink at Happy Hour
350 N. Canon Drive
Caffe Roma is restauranteur Agostino Sciandri’s upscale Italian eatery and is a handsome bar, cafe and restaurant with plenty of indoor and covered patio seating that has striking heaters shaped like a firey obelisk.
Here’s the Deal
Happy Hour: 4pm to 7pm daily
What to Drink: 51% off all drinks. Basically, what this comes down to is a Ketel One martini is going to cost you just under $7 and a glass of an excellent Pinot Noir will run you just under $5.
What to Eat: The Happy Hour menu at Caffe Roma offers a number of amazing options and generous portions for $5 per dish. We especially enjoyed the Caponata e Gamberi – Sicilian caponata with grilled shrimp, the Pizzetta Margherita, the Carpaccio di Manzo, the Timballo di Melanzane – oven baked penne with eggplant and tomato, the Polpettine di Carne – meatballs in a tomato sauce with peas and the Salame e Olive – classic assortments of mixed salamis, olives and cheeses.
Bartenders to Meet: We had a cool guy for our bartender when we went to check out Caffe Roma. Vasilios Pavlakis poured excellent martinis and had a great rapport with his customers as did Maggie who works Thursday through Saturday evenings.
Parking: Valet in front or park yourself in their lot with the entrance on Crescent. However, between 5pm and 6pm there are usually open meters on Crescent, Canon, Beverly Drive and Brighton
